TV TIME :: Project Runways Korto & Jerell !!

so i've been a fan of Project Runway since the first season...i love new designers and i think Heidi Klum is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S !!....

Bravo is currently showing Season 5...and its down to the final four Korto, Jerell, Kenley and . Bravo has on their site pics of the final 6 contestants final collections. Which is a spoiler for me !! I wanted to see that on the finale on TV ...thanx Bravo !!

Korto is my favourite to win !! Her clothes look so refined and finished. She seems like she is really passionate about fashion. Loving all 3 of these pieces !

Jerrell ...love him. VERY dissappointed with some of the designs he had in his final collection. I really thought he had a shot of winning ....GUESS NOT !!

Kenley, Kenley, Kenley.....so arrogant and rude ! I can't stand her....

HOWEVER....some of her dresses are so cool ! the 40's inspired look is working for her....hope she doesn't win !!

Leanne.......was the most silent one of the cast this season....but after veiwing her final collection.....below .....i'm sorry Korto....i think Leannes collection is coming in a close second !! Those dresses and folds in the skirts....as Rachel Zoe says...I could die !!

I just noticed that Lauren London looks alot like Sanaa Lathan. Sanaa could literally be her older sister...thats how much they look alike ! and then Sanaa also has a tendency to look like Ashanti (not sure if she'd like that comparison...lol)...beautiful black women all around !!

SHOPAHOLIC :: Fall 08

so i have a shopping problem....i can't seem to go into a mall and walk out without buying SOMETHING ?!? (no matter how broke i am !!) ...could just be a top, a belt...i mean why waste the trip :)

to curb this problem i window e-shop before actually purchasing anything ...i check out all my fav stores and brands and at least have an idea for an outfit i want to put together ...instead of just compulsively buying crap i don't need...

now mi jus need fi find a man to con outa some money...lol

i also fell in love with these Tapered Jeans in Faded Black Denim By Luxirie LRG. Zippers at the bottom of your jeans are in now...and these at the back are kinda sexy...

and becuz fringed boots are also in....i found these brown ones from Micheal Kors and these black ones from Christian Louboutin

GUILTY PLEASURE :: Rome (HBO)

so one of my guilty pleasures is HBO's Rome ...i just bucked up on it one day...(probably high) and got hooked ! its wonderfully produced and the storylines are vicious and juicy and makes you see how people really were before i-pods and air conditioning...Currently watching all of Season 2 on HBO Demand....hopefully their should be a season 3...

Cleopatra (played by Lyndsey Marshall) is my fav character....so genius, seductive powerful and fabulous...she's holding down Egypt all by her fine self...

then there's Octavian....the evil nerd king....he's the great nephew of Ceaser who takes control of Rome after Ceasers is assassinated.....he's very clever and very bitter...well i guess i would be too if my mother was f*kin the person i hated most....Marc Anthony...oh and he has a weird violent-sex fetish that kind of makes him more interesting...lol

...Marc Anthony....i only like him cuz his sex scenes are hot !!

Vintage JAMAICA t-shirt

I remember growing up seeing a postcard with a very attractive, busty female coming out of water with a red JAMAICA t-shirt clinging to her chest (clearly not the pic shown here)...but anyway...point is...i always wanted that shirt...it would make a great vintage tee... i also remember seeing it in yellow....gonna go scour the net for it ..
